Two years ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to snuggle up to pooches as the pug pop-up cafe arrived.

A year later, sausage dogs took centre stage.

While we love and cherish all dogs, because they are amazing, were excited to announce that there is a cafe launching in London to celebrate the diva of all dogs: the chihuahua.

The one-day event will take place on Sunday 21 July at The Happenstance in St Pauls, and organisers are promising all things Chi.

Therell be pupcakes, dognuts, barkscotti and pawsecco for the pooches, and each chihuahua will also be treated to a free pupuccino.

Humans will have plenty to enjoy too, with the Happenstances regular menu available, featuring brunch classics, cake and cocktails.

Ben and Jerrys might be best known for their edgy and quirky flavour names, but things havent always gone to plan.

Famed for the likes of Americone Dream, Out Of This Swirled and Karamel Sutra, its safe to say the guys over at B&J are pun experts.

Enter the controversial name: Schweddy Balls.

It was based on the character Pete Schweddy from Saturday Night Live, who was played by Alec Baldwin…it was this very popular sketch, Flavour Guru Lisa Scholtz explained as Metro.co.uk took a trip to B&J headquarters in Burlington, Vermont.

The sketch in question was Delicious Dish, which saw Alecs character wanting to show the hosts his popcorn balls, cheese balls, rum balls, you name it, from the Schweddy family recipe.

However, when the Christian group One Million Moms called for a boycott of the company over the offensive name, things took a turn for the bizarre.

According to HuffPost, the group told members: In the past, Ben & Jerrys has released controversial ice creams, like a special edition of Chubby Hubby called Hubby Hubby last year which celebrated gay marriage. It seems that offending customers has become an annual tradition for Ben & Jerrys.

The site added that One Million Moms asked members to take action against the company.

Please send Ben & Jerrys Public Relations Manager, Sean Greenwood, an email letter requesting that no additional Schweddy Balls ice cream be distributed, they were said to have written.

Also, highly recommend they refrain from producing another batch with this name or any other offensive names or you will no longer be able to purchase their products.

It wouldnt be the last time the company would face controversy, with them recently facing a ban for placing adverts too close to a school.

Nevertheless, on this occasion, the controversy didnt hinder sales in the slightest, witRead More – Source
